“The More You Know” by Jane Leo – Electrifying & Hypnotic Performance

Jane Leo returns with another impressive single:

Indie-rock band Jane Leo is back with their follow up single “The More You Know”. After an impressive debut release; “Tell Me (I’m on Your Mind), we have been eagerly waiting to see what this dynamic duo will create next.

Jane Leo was formed by Daniel Leopold and Jane Ellen Bryant a few years ago after both artists came to a crossroads in their personal careers. Jane Leo told us: “Everything felt revitalized through this new path. All projects started to flow authentically as soon as that happened. These songs capture our artistic and personal transformations.”

The band have received an enthusiastic response from old and new fans. After their first live performance this month, the excitement from both the fans and band was overwhelming and kept the band buzzing all night long.

Their newest release, “The More You Know”, poured out of Jane Leo at a particularly creative high point at the beginning of last year, just before the whole world changed. They told us: “It feels happy. Who knew we needed that?”

“The More You Know”

This emotive indie-rock ballad carries a mysterious and enticingly dreamy atmosphere. Jane’s expressive and seductive performance hypnotises listeners, while Daniel’s impressive guitar riffs electrify our senses.

The powerful musical composition evokes potent emotions within the listener. The contrast between the dynamic instrumental delivery and the hushed vocal performance cleverly complements the contrasting lyrical story.

An intriguing music video accompanies “The More You Know”, which incorporates engaging visual effects, sword fights and of course, Jane Leos signature finale, Daniel’s violent demise.

Time Moves Slow – Sorry It’s Over / Quirky & Unique Music Video

Meet the hottest new Socal band, Sorry It’s Over:

California based alternative pop-rock band, Sorry It’s Over, have just released their newest single and debut music video titled; “Time Moves Slow”.

Bandmates Sam Adgate and Louis Petrella have been playing together since high school and their music expresses their Socal easy-going, good-time vibe.

Louis grew up jamming with his father and gained a fruitful education in classic rock music which he showcases in their productions. His extensive musical talents perfectly complement Sam’s captivating vocal ability and the two have gained some major attention since they first appeared on the music scene.

Time Moves Slow:

“Time Moves Slow” is the first song featuring Louis on lead vocals and he delivers a heartfelt and emotive performance. His raspy, slightly rock style vocals charm listeners and encourage them to join in with him when he sings: “time moves slow, when you don’t really want it to. Just know, I’ll be back soon as long as you stay near to me”.

This song has a happy and upbeat soundscape that inspires listeners to dance and skip around. But, the song is actually about heartbreak and how the loss of someone you love changes the world around you and makes everything, well… move slow.

The music video shows three sweet-natured, quirky young guys who could steal the heart of any young admirer. They project an image of wholesome, charming and adorable young men.

The opening scene of the video is reminiscent of The Beatles, as the boys stand with instruments in hand, nodding their heads from side to side.

Curious random images of blue skies, rollercoaster rides, Darth Vader, hula girls and gorillas flash across the backdrop. This accompanied by the bands geeky dancing is highly amusing and there is a definite tongue in cheek humour to the whole performance.

This fun music video and cheerful song will charm any music fan and if you like songs from artists such as Peach Pit and Green Day, then Sorry It’s Over will fit perfectly on your pop-rock playlist.

Watch the music video on YouTube and please like, share and comment!

When I Sleep – Betty Boo Banksta / Inspiring Music Video Release

Betty Boo Banksta:

Eclectic singer-songwriter Betty Boo Banksta has just released a captivating new music video for her song, “When I Sleep”.

Banksta has an intense passion for her music and expertly utilises this portal to express herself in a unique and fascinating form.

Her first professional musical encounter came when she was invited to accompany a friend to drop off tracks at the Bobby Brown studio, where Outkast was recording.

Banksta jumped at the chance as she was completely enamoured with André 3000. When she arrived they were listening to Aquemini and asked her opinion. Without hesitation, Banksta announced that it was missing her voice, so the guys invited her to jump on the mic!

Not one to miss out on an opportunity, Banksta tore that mic up and even has a trophy to prove it.

Her background is in hip-hop, but this fascinating woman can delve into any genre you throw at her.

When I Sleep:

The music video “When I Sleep”, displays what a captivating performer Banksta is, both vocally and visually. Here, she showcases her tantalising energy and passion, as well as her unique style.

She delivers a dazzling performance in a strobe-lit studio where she plays the piano and sexily crawls across it. Dreamy, smoke-filled scenes bounce between her on the piano to singing in a microphone booth and performing on a stage.

Her bold style is inspiring and she sports a sweater with a huge eye on the front, suggesting to her viewers that she sleeps with one eye open. Or perhaps this represents her inner eye, which is wide open when she sleeps, seeing into the unconscious realm.

The inspiration for this song came from Banksta’s mother who would always tell her that she sleeps too much. She told us: “this song is about the awakening of the mind, spirit, and soul. There is resting but our consciousness never sleeps. Ever!”.

Banksta had an amazing team behind her for the production of this video, which was directed by the renowned Kevin Garrett and co-produced by the incredible vision of Reginald Dewayne Boyland.
