Have you been good this year? Will you be on the naughty or nice list? Ring out the bells and bring in the cheer, it’s that time of year, and Christmas is almost here. And what better way to get in the Christmas spirit than with a sassy Christmas song, which is a little bit naughty, and a little bit nice.
Tori Martin’s special holiday release, “Santa Wrote Me a Letter”, is a lyrically witty and amusing song about Santa Claus failing to deliver on a special Christmas wish.
What was the wish? As with most of us women, it is of course for a special man to love and cherish. But maybe Santa wants Tori all for himself? Because he brings her a sweater instead!
The vibe of this song is upbeat and jolly, with a charming 60s’ feel to it, which is enhanced by the charismatic female backing singers, who give us plenty of ooh’s and ah’s, reminiscent of “Beauty School Dropout” from Grease.
This song is sexy, and so much fun. An intense injection of Christmas spirit, with a hint of blues, driven by a retro piano and Tori’s incredibly impressive and powerful vocals.
Tori is primarily a country singer, however, here she is showcasing her versatility with a sassy and soulful energy to her performance.
This song is unforgivably catchy, and you will find yourself humming it for hours after, nudging you to return for more Christmas joy.
Tori is a Nashville based singer and songwriter who grew up as a military brat, moving from state to state until settling in Texas.

Quickly, she became known for her impressive vocal ability and very soon she was collaborating with some of the great songsmiths of Nashville.
And she co-wrote “Santa Wrote Me a Letter” with two of her favourite Nashville songwriters, Kirsti Manna and Bill DiLuigi.
Inspired by icon’s such as Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette, Tori Martin is taking the music world by storm.
